It’s no secret that the world is experiencing a great deal of pain. It does not take much to notice especially in the United States and the modern Western world, people are struggling with feelings of loneliness, addiction, divorce, gender confusion, and a multitude of other issues. This list is exhaustive. As a response, many have sought solace in modern counseling and psychiatry, aiming to alleviate a variety of mental health symptoms under the classic medical model.

However, a significant portion of the world remains unaware or resistant to the profound spiritual realities that interact with the natural systems at work within our minds and spirits. This blog aims to offer a Catholic Christian perspective on psychology and mental health, challenging and integrating the diverse ideas prevalent in our secular culture. I am Joseph, a mental health therapist driven by the desire to assist others while also guiding souls toward the heart of God.

Alongside other faithful Catholic therapists, our hope for this site is to provide some relief for your suffering. If not a remedy, then at least a soothing balm to reframe and rediscover your inherent dignity and value as a beloved son or daughter. Our aim is to inspire those who, as children of God, endure pain to find hope, faith, and love deeply embedded within their cores. Practical tools and the thoughts of trusted Catholic therapists can perhaps be of some therapeutic value not only to the reader but for us as well!

The Catholic Christian Meta Model of the person serves as a foundational cornerstone through which the ideas explored on this site will be viewed. Thank you and enjoy!
